This was a fun event with a very nice couple and their family. The paper products & the invitation with the elephant & giraffe theme are from my "Tp & Teddy Paper Studio" all designed by me so that the couple could have a one of a kind theme, catering by Lei Lei's Cuisine. The menu consisted of: Veggie & Fruit platters, Fried Chicken Wings, Spicy Cheeseburger Dip with scoop chips, Spinach & Artichoke dip in a Hawaiian bread bowl, Sweet Honey BBQ Meatballs, Chips and dips and tropical punch. The proud daddy fixed his very delicious southwestern egg rolls. The Cake on top with the fondant elephant (made by me!) was a Strawberry Cake with Cheesecake Icing (the daddy's favorite cake) the big cupcakes on the tower were red velvet with Cheesecake Icing. Thanks to my husband and my sister in Christ April for helping Lei Lei's Cuisine & Tp & Teddy Paper Studio pull this fabulous event off!

These two cakes were for a brother & sister who are one year apart.
Strawberry Shortcake cake was a strawberry cake with fresh pured strawberrys and pink cotton candy buttercream icing.
Thomas Cake was a Vanilla Vanilla cake with blue cotton candy buttercream icing.

Dang Wedding
This is a 4 tier Red Velvet cake with cream cheese filling and fresh butter cream icing. Then decorated with gold shimmer ribbon and fresh flowers. Thanks to the couple my husband and I had an awesome time. We really enjoyed your Vietnamese wedding reception.

Newkirk Wedding Cake
Today was a fun wedding cake. The Newkirk cake was a 4-tier Red Velvet cake with fresh cream cheese filling and a buttercream icing. The roses are made with gumpaste and silver luster dust. My husband & I had a great time. We wish the Newkirks all the best in their new life together!

Wedding Flowers
Working on this wedding we have this weekend. Here is a set of the gum paste roses painted with silver luster dust. Lots of cake orders and bridal tastings this coming week. I have now had a third booking of the Thomas the train cake!

Thomas the Train Cake
Yesterday my baby Tp had a friend who turned 3, I was giving the wonderful opportunity to do his birthday cake and cupcakes. The theme was Thomas the Train. The cake and the cupcakes were Vanilla Butter with Cotton Candy Buttercream icing. The cupcake toppers were from Tp & Teddy paper Studio.

Work In Progress
I have been unable to get my new site and blog up an running like I had plan. It has been very busy around her. Lots of sweets due, Trendi Chikz party plus of coarse pool time! I hope that this week I will be able to post and will also be able to upload more photos to the website as well as the blog.
I made this cupcakes yesterday for the Patterson Cookout. I use the recipe from Billy Reece, owner of Billy's Bakery, NYC (Billy's Vanilla, Vanilla Cupcakes and Vanilla Buttercream). Then I rolled out some satin ice red fondant and stamped me some funky designs the cut out little bitty stars! They were loved by all....The recipe for the Cupcakes were perfect....The icing was a little on the sweet side. I will defiantly make this again....prob this coming Friday :-)
